Enrolling in Benefits

You can enroll in coverage within 30 days of your date of hire (first day worked) or during the annual Open Enrollment period.
Benefit elections will take effect on the first of the month following your date of hire.

During the year, you cannot make changes to your benefits unless you have a Qualified Life Event. If you do not make changes to your benefits within 30 days of the Qualified Life Event, you will have to wait until the next annual Open Enrollment period to make changes (unless you experience another Qualified Life Event).

    Making Changes After Open Enrollment

      Common Qualified Life Events Include

      • Marriage
      • Welcoming a new child
      • Loss of coverage
      • Leave of absence
      • Loss or change in employment
